These costs are based on a traditional undergraduate student carrying 12-18 credits per academic year. Actual individual costs will vary depending on a number of factors, including the type of room, meal plan selected* or miscellaneous course fees. The costs below are paid directly to Lancaster Bible College and are eligible for financial aid assistance.

Indirect Costs You Might Have When Attending College

In addition to the costs listed above charged by LBC, there are also indirect expenses associated with pursuing an education that are not charged by the college. These include textbooks and supplies, transportation, personal or food and housing if living off-campus. These are not expenses owed to the college but are indirect costs you may have and for which you are eligible to receive financial assistance. Each student will find that they spend different amounts in these categories.

The cost of attendance is an estimate of the expenses you may incur during the academic year. It combines the direct expenses like tuition/fees and the indirect costs mentioned above to best estimate what it will cost you to attend LBC | Capital for the 2024-2025 academic year (typically includes fall and spring terms). This COA chart provides an average of estimated expenses a fulltime student (carrying between 12-18 credits) could incur during an academic year. Your academic year is determined by your program of study, number of credits taken and housing selection. Arranging Payment for Your Degree

As a student, you will have online access to a personalized dashboard that makes it easy to track and manage your account. Payment on your bill can be done online, by mail and in-person on the Lancaster campus. You can also make payments online using foreign currency.

If you wish to spread your payments over several months, a payment plan is available each semester. For a $25 set-up fee, the amount owed will be equally divided into automatic monthly payments for the length of the semester.

Our Financial Aid staff hopes these FAQs may assist in answering your questions about college costs at LBC | Capital.

Does the percentage of aid that you receive decrease after freshman year?

There are often small incentive scholarships from the Admissions Department that do not continue beyond your first year at LBC. However, there are many LBC Endowment Scholarships you can apply for in your second year and beyond that could potentially more than make up for the incentives. In addition, as you progress in grade level your eligibility for federal student loans will most likely increase as well.
