Lancaster Bible College is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE or the Commission) msche.org. LBC’s accreditation status is Accreditation Reaffirmed. The Commission’s most recent action on the institution’s accreditation status June 25, 2026, was to reaffirm accreditation. MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation (candidate status) activities for institutions of higher education including distance, correspondence education, and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions. MSCHE accepts complaints involving an applicant or member institution’s compliance with the Commission’s Standards for Accreditation, Requirements of Affiliation, Commission policies and procedures, or the institution’s own policies and procedures. The Commission accepts comments from all interested individuals about the quality of an applicant or member institution when the institution is approaching a scheduled accreditation review. Third-party comments are intended to allow individuals to offer more generalized information that is not necessarily specific to individual circumstances. Lancaster Bible College is certified by Pennsylvania Department of Education and is approved to operate at 901 Eden Road, Lancaster, PA 17601.
The college is approved by the U.S. Department of Justice for the training of nonimmigrant international students.
Degrees Granted
Lancaster Bible College is authorized to grant the following degrees:
Evangelical Training Association (ETA) a nationally recognized agency for the promotion of higher standards for Christian teachers and church educators. ETA diplomas are awarded to qualified students upon graduation.
Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
