Institutional Accreditations

Lancaster Bible College is accredited by the following:

• The Middle States Commission on Higher Education
  Lancaster Bible College is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE or the Commission) msche.org. LBC’s accreditation status is Accreditation Reaffirmed. The Commission’s most recent action on the institution’s accreditation status on April 18, 2018, was to reaffirm accreditation. MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation (candidate status) activities for institutions of higher education including distance, correspondence education, and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions. The Commission’s geographic area of accrediting activities is throughout the United States.

MSCHE accepts complaints involving an applicant or member institution’s compliance with the Commission’s Standards for Accreditation, Requirements of Affiliation, Commission policies and procedures, or the institution’s own policies and procedures. To submit a complaint, please use the Complaint form. 

The Commission accepts comments from all interested individuals about the quality of an applicant or member institution when the institution is approaching a scheduled accreditation review. Third-party comments are intended to allow individuals to offer more generalized information that is not necessarily specific to individual circumstances. • The Association for Biblical Higher Education
  Lancaster Bible College is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation to grant certificates and degrees at the Associate, Baccalaureate, Master’s and Doctoral levels. The ABHE Commission on Accreditation’s recognition with the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) includes certificates, diplomas, associate, baccalaureate, and graduate degrees, including doctoral degrees. The Commission’s scope of recognition with the U.S. Department of Education does not include doctoral education.
