“Being in a Christ-centered environment has encouraged me to grow closer to Him.”

“During my time at Lancaster Bible College, God has worked in my life in many personal ways that have helped shape my faith and who I am becoming. Being in a Christ-centered environment has encouraged me to grow closer to Him and to rely on Him more in my everyday life. Through my studies as a psychology major, I have begun to see how important it is to understand and care for others, and I believe God has used that passion to guide me toward serving people with compassion and empathy.”

Maddison Atkins (’26), On Campus – Bachelor’s in Psychology

Life on Campus

LBC’s 103-acre campus in Lancaster, PA is more than a place to take classes, it’s where faith, friendship, and calling come together. On-campus students share meals, worship side by side, and serve the surrounding community as part of everyday life here.

Worship & Spiritual Life

  • Chapel: The entire LBC community gathers three times each week for worship and the Word in the Good Shepherd Chapel.
  • Day of Prayer: Each fall semester the entire student body, faculty and staff of LBC devote an entire day to prayer.
  • Missions Conference: Each spring, LBC hosts a three-day missions conference: a campus-wide pause to explore God’s global work and your place in it.
  • Local Church Involvement: LBC students are encouraged to root themselves in a local church throughout their time on campus, connecting faith in the classroom to faith in community.
  • Campus Ministry: From small groups to ministry teams, there are ongoing opportunities to grow spiritually and serve alongside fellow students.

Community Service

Service isn’t just encouraged at LBC, it’s woven into the academic experience. Through Christian Service I & II, sophomore students spend two full semesters actively serving in the local community, putting their faith into practice in tangible ways.
