Cost of Tuition for Fall 2026 – Spring 27 Academic Year
The “cost of tuition” shows how much it costs per credit hour to attend online doctoral classes at LBC.

The Estimated Cost of Attendance
The Cost of Attendance (COA) is our best estimate of what it will cost to attend LBC for the 2026–27 academic year (fall and spring terms). It’s designed to help you plan for college expenses and understand how financial aid is determined.
The COA includes:
- Direct costs, such as tuition and fees, which are paid directly to LBC
- Indirect costs, such as textbooks, supplies, and transportation, which you may pay on your own
The chart below reflects average costs for a full academic year. Your actual expenses may vary based on your program of study and personal choices. Some programs include a summer term, which would result in additional costs.

+This will be charged to a student’s LBC account each semester at the rate of $325 per semester for PhD Students, $280 per course for DMin students and $150 per semester for EdD.
Residency Costs for PhD Programs
Housing & Meals During Residency
- We do not provide housing or meals during residency. These costs are the responsibility of the student.
- International students housing during residency. We cannot guarantee it, but we will strive to find housing for international students. We have some families willing to host international students. Meals may or may not be provided by these families. Transportation to and from the airport and the host homes is not provided. Students are responsible to find transportation. Housing is only provided during the dates of residency.
Travel
- For the PhD programs (Biblical Studies and Leadership), scholarships cannot be applied towards travel to and from residency. Travel and visa costs are the responsibility of the student.
Arranging Payment for Your Degree
As a student, you will have online access to a personalize dashboard that makes it easy to track and manage your account. Payment on your bill can be done online, by mail and in-person on the Lancaster campus. You can also make payments online using foreign currency.
If you wish to spread your payments over several months, a payment plan is available each semester. For a $25 set-up fee, the amount owed will be equally divided into monthly payments for the length of the semester. Automatic payment withdrawals will occur on the first Monday of each month.
