Why Musical Performance with LBC?

If you’re eager to use your musical gifts to bring glory to God and prepare for a career as a performer and a disciple of Christ, Lancaster Bible College’s Music Performance program is for you.

Designed to train students to be excellent performers and followers of Christ, this program offers courses that blend musicianship, theory, and technique with a biblical worldview. Our students begin performing in their first year of study, participate in weekly music performance forums, and perform in solo recitals in their junior and senior years.

Through LBC’s relationships with local arts organizations, you’ll have ample opportunities to perform outside the college and gain real-world experience. You’ll also get the chance to study under and learn from experienced professors who are active performers in the music industry.

LBC’s program prepares you to:

  • Demonstrate professional skills on your primary instrument.
  • Apply historical and theoretical knowledge to the analysis and performance of musical works.
  • Integrate your biblical faith into your life and career as an artist.
