JumpStart allows high school juniors and seniors to earn affordable college credits at Lancaster Bible College while experiencing real college classes and campus life.

What Is Dual Enrollment?

Dual enrollment allows high school students to take college courses and earn credits at a significantly reduced cost while still completing high school. JumpStart provides a firsthand college experience while helping students get ahead academically and prepare for future success.

Whichever format you choose, you’ll earn the same college credit and receive the same academic quality, with the flexibility to fit your schedule and goals.

On-Campus Courses

Experience college life firsthand on LBC’s campus.

  • Attend classes in person on LBC’s campus
  • Traditional 16-week semester format
  • Access campus resources including the library, study spaces and Microsoft Office tools
  • Attend chapel, athletic events, and other campus activities

Tuition Cost

$100 per credit for on-campus courses (includes the $35 student service fee per credit).
Example: A 3-credit course costs $300 plus textbooks or applicable course fees.

JumpStart students receive discounted tuition rates designed specifically for high school dual enrollment students.

Online Courses

Enjoy the flexibility of earning college credit online.

  • Complete coursework fully online
  • Courses are offered in accelerated 8-week subterms
  • Study where and when it works best for your schedule
  • Access campus resources including the library and Microsoft Office tools

Tuition Cost

$150 per credit for online courses—this includes $35 student service fee per credit. Example: A 3-credit course costs $450 plus textbooks or applicable course fees.

JumpStart students receive discounted tuition rates designed specifically for high school dual enrollment students.

As you make your final decision about applying to LBC’s Jumpstart Program, you may find it helpful to review our Course Registration Guide to see which courses are being offered next term. Because online courses are offered in an 8-week format, each semester is divided into two subterms: Session A (8/31–10/25) and Session B (10/26–12/20). You will see both sessions listed in the Guide. Since class space is limited, we encourage you to apply for Jumpstart as soon as possible.

Do You Qualify for JumpStart?

JumpStart may be a great fit if you are:

  • High school junior or senior
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Be in good standing with your high school and LBC
  • Profess faith in Jesus Christ and agree with LBC’s Statement of Faith
To apply, students must meet one of the following testing requirements:

PSAT or SAT
490+ Math and 490+ Critical Reading
980+ combined score
LBC’s school code: 2338

ACT
18+ composite score
Including a minimum score of 18 in Math or Reading
LBC’s school code: 3707

CLT
Composite score of 60 or higher

Your first step is to apply to the JumpStart Program. A one-time $25 application fee is required. Use the link below to complete your application and start earning college credits while still in high school.
